The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress on Wednesday joined hands to launch a no-holds-barred tirade against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal after he skipped appearing before the Enforcement Directorate for the third time for questioning in the Delhi liquor policy case.
Taking a dig at Kejriwal, the BJP shared a post on X, questioning his absence while raising concerns about the continued detention of Manish Sisodia and Sanjay Singh in the liquor scam.

A cartoon accompanying the post depicted Kejriwal as a teacher at the fictional ‘Kejriwal School of Corruption,’ offering lessons on ‘How to do Liquor Scam’ to INDIA bloc leaders.
The Congress was equally scathing in its attack against Kejriwal with party leader Sandeep Dikshit terming him as a “cheater of his own ideology” and advising him to practice what he preaches.
“I want to ask Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal a question when Lokpal Bill was under discussions, I used to discuss the same with him. We told him that the Lokpal you’re trying to make may be misused if the wrong person becomes a Lokpal and the government could misuse it.”

“He said that a political leader should be transparent. If there is any allegation against them, they should resign…and they should also surrender if they get arrested and if one is innocent then it will be proved…He should at least stick to his words. I believe he’s become the biggest cheater of his own ideology…,” Dikshit said.
Responding to the ED, Chief Minister Kejriwal stated that he is willing to cooperate with the probe agency but deemed the notice “illegal”. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alleged that the ED’s actions were a deliberate attempt to arrest Kejriwal and prevent his participation in election campaigning.
“Ready to cooperate in the ED investigation but the agency’s notice is illegal. They intend to arrest Arvind Kejriwal. They want to stop him from the election campaign,” AAP stated.
This marks the third summons issued to Kejriwal by the ED. The previous summons, dated December 18, required his appearance on December 21. However, he decided not to appear before the officials and headed for a 10-day Vipassana meditation camp.
The initial summons, issued in October, is part of the ongoing investigation into alleged money laundering associated with the liquor policy, which faced corruption allegations prompting its withdrawal by the Delhi government.
