Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday met Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan in New Delhi. PM Modi and Hassan signed six deals to elevate cooperation in several key areas and agreed on a five-year roadmap to expand defence engagement. The Tanzanian President arrived in India on Sunday for a four-day visit. PM Modi said that both nations are working on an agreement to increase trade in local currencies. He added that India and Tanzania are important partners for trade and investment.
