Motorola to take on Redmi 13C 5G, Realme C67 5G with Moto G34 5G; India launch on this date

Motorola is bringing its entry-level 5G smartphone “Moto G34 5G” to India to take on the Redmi 13C 5G and Realme C67 5G phones. The Moto G34 5G is confirmed to launch in India on January 9 with what’s being billed as the “segment’s fastest Snapdragon 695 and super-fast 5G performance with 13 5G bands and VoNR (voice over new radio) support.”

The Moto G34 5G was launched in China a few weeks back in sole 8GB/128GB memory configuration at a price of CNY 999 which roughly translates to Rs. The budget Moto 5G packs some interesting specs for the price and bundles it inside a sleek and lightweight chassis. Here are the specs:

Under the hood, the Moto G34 5G comes powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The phone runs Android 14 software and has a 5,000mAh battery with 18W USB Type-C charging. Interesting, you also get dual speakers on the Moto G34 5G capable of Dolby Atmos playback.

The India-bound model is largely expected to ship with the same specs while pricing could be on the aggressive side looking at Motorola’s track record off late. In which case, the Moto G34 seems to have the potential to heat up the budget smartphone space with 5G without any significant compromises. Watch this space for more updates.
