Every year during Ganesh Chaturthi, artists erect pandals on different themes. Also, to show creativity, the idols of Lord Ganesha are made with different materials. This year is no different.From ‘Vande Bharat’ to ‘Chandrayaan 3’, devotees in different parts of the country will witness grand pandals on interesting themes.Ganesh Chaturthi or Ganesh Utsav commenced on Tuesday. It will conclude on Thursday (September 28), when the Ganesh Visarjan will take place.The festival commemorates the birth of the Hindu God Ganesha, the God of wisdom. In addition to huge pandals, people install the clay statue of Lord Ganesh in their homes. Observances include chanting of Vedic hymns and prayers.
