Gulmarg experienced the coldest night of the season at minus eight degrees celsius, officials said on Monday. However, the capital city of Kashmir, Srinagar, experienced a warmer night due to overcast conditions, the officials added.Pahalgam, one of the base camps for the yearly Amarnath Yatra in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, experienced a substantial drop in temperature to minus 5.8 degrees Celsius, plummeting over four notches.
